Please take your time and read this before you choose your wedding photographer:

There are no do overs at your wedding. This may not be something you you want to cut corners on. It takes many years of formal education to learn the real art of photography. In addition, every year we spend over a hundred hours in classes and seminars, costing thousands of dollars per year, to stay on top of what is happening in today's wedding photography.

Please beware of those photographers that say, "Sure! I'll photograph your wedding cheap!" They can do it ‘cheap’ because they invest so little into it. They have to be cutting corners somewhere. Are they giving you prints from the local discount store? Even worse, are they giving an unfinished CD of jpeg or raw files and saying good bye and good luck? Giving the average client (victim) unfinished images on a CD is like selling them an unassembled computer and saying, "Now you can finish it.”

Raw files can't open on your computer without the proper software. Jpeg files are poor quality, because they have about three fourths of the image information missing. Then, when you take your CD with the poor quality .jpg files down to the local discount store, the prints are likely to come out dark and the color, well let’s just hope! Such photographers or amateurs that offer just a CD of images are doing less than half the work of a true professional. He or she may be doing this because of the lack of skill, or they simply just want your money and don't want to ever see you again. These ‘photographers’ often have little photography education, no accreditation, no insurance, and may not be paying any taxes whatsoever. So, you may want to think twice about using a ‘cheap’ photographer.

It requires many hours in Adobe Photoshop by a highly skilled Photoshop artist who possesses the technical skills about the right color space, raw conversion, etc. for your images to be complete.
